If Spare Air is leaking, most situations require sending in unit for service. There are, however, a few situations that you may troubleshoot / replace a part yourself after doing a water test to determine exactly where the leak is coming from. Replace Check Valve, lubricate threads regularly & re-tighten with hex key periodically |

Re-read Page 5 refill instructions and try filling again following each step |

Check Valve internal O-ring / Stem failure |

Empty unit, unscrew regulator and inspect tank o-ring. If o-ring is in good condition then reinstall & hand-tighten, if damaged replace o-ring |

Fill Scuba tank to capacity and fill Spare Air again |
