Dive Accident Report Database

Enter the Dive Accident Report Database.

Report an incident.

The Dive Accident Report Database is a new feature sponsored by Spare Air.  We believe that most minor and many major dive accidents that don't result in death are never reported.  This can give recreational divers a false sense of safety and hide many diving issues from discussion.

The purpose of this database is to allow divers an anonymous method of reporting any part of a SCUBA diving experience that compromised safety.  It is also a resource for study and discussion for anyone interested in dive safety.

Issues we would like reported include bad regulators (that caused a safety issue), BC inflating without warning, O-rings failing at depth, gauges reading incorrectly, buddies going too deep, dive boats leaving without passengers, anything regarding the safety of recreation diving during an actual dive.
